Commercial Security Systems in Milwaukee & New Berlin

Cameras, access control, video intercoms, alarms, and the network underneath them, engineered for your building by a locally owned team. Private systems you own, built with cybersecurity in mind from the first drawing.

Locally owned since 2010 · Axis Solution Gold Partner · NDAA-compliant equipment only

One integrated system, not a pile of separate vendors

A Milwaukee business security system usually grows one vendor at a time: a camera company, an alarm company, a locksmith for card readers, and IT for the network. Nobody owns the whole picture, and nothing talks to anything else. AdvaTech Security designs, installs, and supports every layer, so the door, the alarm, and the video tell one story when something happens.

Private, locally owned, and built for cybersecurity

Every camera, controller, and intercom is a computer on your network. We treat it that way.

  • You own the system and the footage. Video stays on your cameras or your own server. No big-tech cloud subscription is required to see your own building.
  • NDAA-compliant equipment only. Axis and 2N for video, doors, and intercoms. Ubiquiti for the network.
  • Segmented networks. Security devices live on their own VLAN, apart from guest Wi-Fi and office PCs.
  • Hardened from day one. Default passwords changed, unused services turned off, encrypted connections, and firmware kept current.
  • Remote access limited to the people who maintain the system, through secured connections.

Ongoing patching and health checks are covered under our Remote Service Agreements.

Which video setup fits your building?

Both options use Axis cameras and keep video on equipment you own. The difference is scale and how much the system has to do.

Local systems, local references

New Berlin Plastics, the Cedarburg Police Department, the City of Mequon, and Christ Alone Lutheran School in Thiensville are Southeastern Wisconsin systems we designed and installed.

“We recently had AdvaTech install a surveillance system at our business, and we’re very pleased with the results. Chris and his staff were amazing to work with every step of the way.”

What to ask any Milwaukee security company

Use these questions to compare proposals, including ours.

Who owns the system and the video?

If you stop paying a subscription, can you still see your own footage? With us, yes.

Is the hardware NDAA compliant?

Ask for the brand of every camera and recorder. Ours are Axis and 2N.

Who installs it?

Our own technicians install and service what we design. We do not broker your job to a subcontractor.

How is it kept secure after install?

Firmware, patches, and passwords need an owner. Ours is a written service agreement.

Frequently asked questions

What does a commercial security system include?

Most Milwaukee businesses need some mix of video surveillance, access control on the doors that matter, an intrusion alarm, a video intercom at the main entrance, and a network that can carry it all. We design those pieces together so a door event, an alarm, and the camera footage line up in one place instead of four different apps.

How much does a commercial security system cost in Milwaukee?

It depends on the building: the number of doors, camera views, distance between closets, and what you already own. We do not publish package prices because we do not sell packages. After a free site assessment you get a written design and an itemized quote, so you can see what each part of the system costs.

Can you work with the cameras, cabling, or card readers we already have?

Often, yes. We survey what is installed, keep what still performs and can be secured, and tell you plainly what will hold the new system back. Existing HID-style cards and good cable runs frequently carry over.

Who owns the system and the video?

You do. We install private, customer-owned systems. Video records on your cameras or on your own Axis Camera Station Pro server, not in a big-tech cloud account, and you decide who has access.

Is the equipment NDAA compliant?

Yes. We only install NDAA-compliant equipment. Our camera, access control, and intercom lines are Axis and 2N, and our network gear is Ubiquiti.

Do you offer 24/7 monitoring?

Yes. Alarm monitoring with dispatch is available on systems we install and support, and the intrusion side runs on DSC NEO panels with the Alarm.com app.

Who services the system after it is installed?

The same New Berlin team that installed it. Remote Service Agreements cover software and firmware updates, security patches, server health checks, and remote support, with on-site service when a truck is actually needed.
